The 2021 album Road to the Sun is an unexpected and genre-defying new recording from 20-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist/composer Pat Metheny featuring Jason Vieaux and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Our folio features all of the guitar parts transcribed note-for-note. The new release marks Metheny's recording debut as a chamber composer and has been hailed as “a major addition to the guitar quartet literature” by the San Francisco Classical Voice. It includes two substantial multi-movement suites: the solo guitar suite Four Paths of Light and the guitar quartet Road to the Sun.
